Accelerated Bridge Construction Test Unit under Seismic Loading 7.0 Earthquake tri-axial

A 1/2.4 scale single-span precast segmental bridge was tested on the adjacent re-locatable shake tables at the University at Buffalo. The objective of the test was to identify the response and evaluate the performance of precast segmental bridges when subjected to seismic loading. The large scale bridge model, designed according to the Accelerated Bridge Construction techniques, was the first of its type ever performed in the United States.
