Continuing Education Hours
Q: Do we get continuing education hours for attending the conference?
A: Yes, attendees will receive certificate of attendance for the duration of a participating session. The conference organizer (Florida International University) is responsible only for issuing the certificates of attendance.
Q: Do the certificates automatically, count as PDHs?
A: No, it will be the attendee’s responsibility to present this certificate to his/her Board of Professional Engineers for use in fulfilling continuing education requirements. FIU is an official approved sponsor of continuing education for professional engineers in Florida and New York State.

Q: When do the exhibitors move in?
A: Wednesday, Dec. 7th, 2022, from Noon – 6:00 pm
Q: What are the exhibit hours?
A: The exhibit hall will be open:
Thursday Dec. 8th, 2022, from 7:00 am – 7:30 pm
Friday Dec. 9th, 2022, from 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
It is up to the exhibitors when they would like to be present at their booths.
Q: When do the exhibitors move out?
A: Friday Dec. 9th, 2022, from 3:30 pm – 5:00 pm
Q: What does come with a booth reservation?
A: the 10 x 10 booths come with:
8′ High Back Drape, 3′ High Side Rails, and ID Sign, 2 complimentary registrations
The bigger booths come additionally, with:
6’ skirted table, (2) side chairs, and (1) wastebasket with liner, 3-4 complimentary registrations
Q: What is the cost of an exhibit booth?
A: The majority of the booths are 10 x 10. The cost for this booth is $2,800. There are also bigger booths with varying prices. Please see the website or contact Mrs. Mina Saremi msare001@fiu.edu

A: Yes, there are several different sponsorship opportunities such as:
- Lanyards (only exhibitors can be a lanyard sponsor)

Q: What is the cancellation policy for exhibitors?
A: No refund request will be honored after November 1st, 2022. All cancellations must be in writing and emailed to Ms. Saremi at msare001@fiu.edu. If you do not cancel, and are not able to attend the conference, you will be responsible for your full payment. All refunds are subject to a $200 administration processing fee.

Transportation:
Q: How can I get from the MIA airport to Hyatt Regency?
A: From MIA to Hyatt Regency is about 9 miles which takes about 20 minutes. You have multiple options: Taxi, Uber, Lyft (the cost is around $30), Tram (about 40 minutes $2.50 one way), bus, and shuttles.
Q: How can I get from the FLL airport to Hyatt Regency?
A: From FLL Airport to Hyatt Regency is about 27-30 (45 minutes, approx. $60) miles depending on which route you take. You can take Taxi, Uber, Lyft, and Shuttles.
Parking:
Q: Is there parking available at the Hyatt Regency?
The hotel only provides valet parking at $40.60 per day. If you wish to self-park your car, there are parking lots and garages around the perimeter of the hotel. The facilities are not owned or managed by the hotel, and you will need to pay their cashier directly.

A: Hyatt Regency is close to one of Miami’s beautiful neighborhoods, Brickell. Brickell is just minutes away by foot. There are lots of beautiful restaurants, bars, and the amazing City Center Shopping mall, in the Sachs Fifth Ave. There is a wonderful food court which you should not miss.
