As a partner university, Florida A&M University will participate in research activities. FAMU students involved in IBT/ABC-UTC research projects or supported by the IBT/ABC-UTC will be listed on this page.
Current Students
Onindo Shuvro (PhD Student): Bahaa is a PhD student with a strong interest in advancing bridge engineering through the application of emerging and advanced technologies. His research focuses on integrating innovative tools and data-driven methods to better understand bridge performance and improve the monitoring, analysis, and management of bridge infrastructure. Through his work, Bahaa aims to contribute to the development of more resilient, efficient, and sustainable bridge systems.
Eric Twum Barima (PhD Student): Eric Twum Barima is a Ph.D. candidate in Civil Engineering at the FAMU–FSU College of Engineering, specializing in transportation engineering. His research focuses on infrastructure resilience, transportation safety, and risk-informed decision-making, particularly for bridge systems under extreme events. He also serves as President of the ITE FAMU–FSU Student Chapter and Vice President of CEEGSA, promoting student engagement and professional development.
Mansoor Adil (PhD Student): Mansoor Adil is a Ph.D. student and Research Assistant at the RIDER Center. With a background in civil engineering and a master’s in Remote Sensing and GIS, he works at the intersection of engineering, geoinformatics, and sustainability. His research focuses on leveraging geospatial technologies, Web-GIS, and data-driven tools to enhance disaster preparedness and infrastructure resilience. By integrating Python, JavaScript, and machine learning, he develops predictive models, spatial risk maps, and interactive dashboards to support real-time decision-making and assess infrastructure vulnerabilities under extreme events.
