Description:  Join us to hear Caltrans’ owner perspective on two unique ABC bridge projects in California, the Fort Goff Creek Bridge and the Laurel Street Overcrossing. The SHRP2 R04 Fort Goff Creek Bridge used ABC technologies to achieve environmental project goals while improving safety and maintaining quality in a remote location. The Laurel Street Overcrossing is the first in a series of multi-span pilot projects to assist in mainstreaming ABC in California through deploying seismic connection research into real-world applications. Gain firsthand insight into research and implementation of seismic-resilient precast element connections and the role of ABC in achieving State environmental goals. This webinar will be of interest to anyone considering ABC with special consideration for both seismic specifications and environmental standards.
