New Courtland Street Bridge Opening Monday

ATLANTA, GA — The Georgia Department of Transportation (Georgia DOT) will officially re-open the Courtland Street Bridge to traffic on Monday, October 8. The 111-year old bridge was fully replaced this year using accelerated bridge construction techniques similar to the I-85 bridge replacement last year. The $25 million project replaced all 28 spans of the Courtland Street Bridge over the MARTA rail lines, CSX rail lines, and Decatur Street.
