Welcome
The IBT/ABC-UTC has assembled an experienced, knowledgeable, and engaged group of bridge academics and engineers who collectively will provide the transportation industry with the tools needed to effectively and economically utilize the principles of ABC to enhance mobility, and safety and produce safe, environmentally friendly, long-lasting bridges.
ABC History
Accelerated bridge construction implementation in the U.S. has been significantly advanced due to the leadership of state DOTs in partnership with the Transportation Research Board, the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials, the Federal Highway Administration, and academic and industry partners. This paper provides a history of those collaborative efforts.
Reports
The semi-annual reports highlight the work done by the IBT/ABC-UTC during each six-month performance period, documenting progress in research, education, workforce development, and technology transfer activities.
