Earthquake lab shakes 70-foot bridge in accelerated construction test

RENO, Nev. – Combined accelerated bridge construction methods were proved safe and ready for real-world application following tests using massive shake tables in the University of Nevada, Reno’s world-renowned Earthquake Engineering Laboratory.
